For almost €50, I expected more practical content. The book gives a decent overview of the Lagotto coat, desired rustic look, and includes useful before-and-after photos.
However, it’s missing clear, step-by-step instructions for beginners. There’s no simple chart showing coat lengths in mm, clipper guard sizes, or the sequence for each body area. A maintenance checklist and QR codes linking to short grooming videos would make a huge difference.
Overall, it’s a good introduction, but without these practical tools it feels incomplete — more of a starting point than a true go-to guide for Lagotto owners.
Uitstekende onderlegger om te starten met het onderhouden van je Lagotto. Prima tips en uitleg hoe de vacht te behandelen en te knippen. Heb het nu 2x gedaan en het gaat steeds beter. Zo nu en dan weer even teruglezen in het boek, wat te doen.
Mooi boek, duidelijke uitleg. Mooie foto’s. Een must have voor elke Lagotto Romagnolo eigenaar en meer.

I groomed my Wheaten Terriers for 14 years so grooming a Lagatto will be different (they both have hair but Lagotto has a double coat). The book is perfect!!!!
