In our grooming salon we only focus on caring for the Lagotto Romagnolo. All dogs are groomed by a groomer with over 15 years of experience in the breed.

How we work
An appointment lasts on average 2 hours. During the appointment, the coat is shaved or cut. The nails are shortened if the dog allows this. If the dog allows this, the ears are cared for and plucked if necessary. Of course, the dog is also washed and dried.
Cut models only if the dog comes every 4 to 6 weeks.
Shave models every 10 to 14 weeks, depending on the speed at which the hair grows and becomes felted.
Severely felted?
Dogs with very many tangles will be shaved without consultation. If dogs are seriously tangled, there is no other solution than shaving completely with 3 mm. Detangling a completely matted coat is very painful for the dog and for that reason we will not do it. Of course, after a shave, with proper maintenance, the coat can be kept longer next time.
The dog in the grooming salon
Some dogs don't like being trimmed. This does not always have to do with habituation, but can also be in the dog's nature. We then advise you to have the dog shaved briefly and the head cut. Often a less stressful treatment for the dog that preserves the hair on the head (if the dog allows this).
Between trims it is important to regularly shorten the length of the nails, the hair around the anus and genitals. The hair that restricts the dog's vision must also be trimmed regularly so that the dog can see.
Make an appointment?
Appointments can be scheduled by email or WhatsApp [0618515821] on Wednesday or Thursday. This usually means that your dog comes to us at 9:00 am and can be picked up again at 11:00 am. Or that your dog comes to us at 1:00 PM and can be picked up again at 3:00 PM.
Prepare your dog well for the grooming. Practice washing and using the water blower regularly with your dog, this makes the visit to the grooming salon a lot easier for your dog.
Unfortunately, it is not possible for you as the owner to be present during the treatment. After the grooming appointment you will receive an invoice and payment link that we ask you to pay the same day.
